Noelle’s Ark Approval Process
Noelle’s Ark currently provides financial assistance to owners to treat their companion animals in urgent and emergency situations due to accidents, trauma, or conditions such as pyometra. At this time, we cannot provide funding for chronic conditions. We have assisted owners with several treatable conditions. We will assist owners of companion animals with acute conditions and will work with a diverse network of veterinarians to find an affordable path to saving the life of their pet.
Stage 1: The pet owner, or an attending veterinarian, contacts Noelle’s Ark about the case by phone or email. Noelle’s Ark will then notify the owner or attending veterinarian if the case pre-qualifies for assistance.
Stage 2: A pre-qualified owner submits an online application for financial assistance along with required documentation to Noelle’s Ark for review. A case manager will be assigned, and the Noelle’s Ark Board of Directors will either approve or disapprove of funding. The Board will also decide how much funding can be applied to the pre-qualified case. An email with these decisions will be sent to the pre-qualified owner within 6 hours of receipt of their application.
Stage 3: If the pet owner’s case qualifies for assistance, and the owner has agreed to the funding allotted, the attending veterinary clinic will then be contacted directly by a case manager from Noelle’s Ark. Funds will be distributed solely and directly to the attending veterinary clinic for procedures solely related to the approved case.
Stage 4: A ‘Letter of Commitment’ or ‘Letter of Denial’ signed by a representative of Noelle’s Ark will be sent via email to both the pet owner and the attending veterinarian.
